Content scope
Coverleaf pages and articles provide general information about medical cannabis, telehealth, insurance and administrative processes in Canada. They do not diagnose and are not personalized medical advice.
Writing and verification
The Coverleaf editorial team prepares content using authoritative public sources. Medical and regulatory claims must be verifiable, appropriately qualified and presented with their limits. Clinical review is stated only when it has actually taken place.
Editorial review lead
David Selema, co-founder of Coverleaf and a medical cannabis industry expert, oversees editorial and regulatory review. This responsibility is based on his industry experience and is not a clinical review; every medical decision belongs exclusively to a licensed practitioner.
Use of artificial intelligence
Writing-assistance tools may be used, but generated content is never published automatically. Every publication must pass compliance checks and human approval.
Updates and corrections
We display publication and update dates on articles. When a rule, source or practice changes, we correct the affected content. To report an error, email info@coverleaf.ca with the page and passage concerned.
