Coverleaf is committed to protecting your personal information, in line with PIPEDA (federal) and Quebec's Law 25. This page explains what we collect and why.
Information we collect
On our public site we only collect the contact details you provide voluntarily (first name, email address, phone number, preferred time and the administrative topic of the request) so we can call you back and route your request to the right team. We also record the language, landing page and, when present, advertising or campaign attribution parameters (such as UTM source and referring domain). These parameters are kept for the duration of the browser tab to identify where the request originated. We ask for no sensitive medical information in this public form.
Audience measurement
Vercel Web Analytics measures page views in aggregate. Coverleaf also logs a limited set of technical conversion events (form start or submission, error, clicks on a button, phone number or external link, and calculator use), without receiving form contents, your contact details or medical information. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, when enabled, load only after your explicit consent. Clarity may then create heatmaps and navigation recordings to improve the site experience. You can withdraw your choice with the “Privacy preferences” button or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
How we use information
Your details are used to reach you about your request and, if you wish, to support you through your care journey. The optional checkbox in the form lets you separately agree to receive Coverleaf news and information by email. This choice is not required to request a callback. When you select it, we retain the consent status and date; you may withdraw it at any time. We do not use your information for other purposes without your consent.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. It may be shared with our licensed practitioners and, with your consent, with an insurer or a medical cannabis platform as part of your file.
Retention and security
We keep your information only as long as necessary to serve you and meet our legal obligations, and we apply reasonable security measures.
Your rights
You may access, correct or request deletion of your information, and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to admin@coverleaf.ca.
